Computer Engineering

The Computer Engineering Department at PSUT was established in 2002. The department has 8 tenure-track faculty members all holding Doctoral degrees from top universities from all around the world. The faculty members are experts in their teaching areas and engaged in research activities in their fields.

The Computer Engineering Department offers two Bachelor programs. The Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Engineering which is an ABET-accredited degree, and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Networks and Information Security Engineering. In addition to the strong theoretical background, the two programs offer many hands-on and laboratory-based courses.

The department has many teaching and research labs for coursework, projects and research. Both of our programs are 160 credit hours that include theoretical and practical courses in addition to senior design projects and field training. Both programs accepts students who succeed in their General Secondary Exam/Science Stream, or equivalent, with an average of at least 80%.
