Members of PSUT’s DART Entrepreneurship Society made an orientation visit to Zarqa Private University where they gave an introductory workshop to present their experience and the programs run by the University’s Queen Rania Center for Entrepreneurship. DART stands for Dream, Aim, Reach, Target.

The QRCE ambassadors explained the importance of forming a branch of the DART Society in all universities. The student Entrepreneurship Society seeks to raise awareness among students about the concept of entrepreneurship, its importance in the community, and how to benefit from entrepreneurship projects and ideas via national institutions and associations. This increased awareness can be achieved by holding workshops about how to market the entrepreneurial ideas of their owners and bring them to the attention of possible funding and supporting parties.

The Dean of Student Affairs at Zarqa Private University, Dr. Majid Al Masadeh, said that he was pleased with the fruitful visit and made a presentation about Zarqa University and its mission. He stressed the importance of making full benefit of national partnerships, saying, "We are always striving to achieve our university’s mission, which emphasizes respect for the mind and methodology of thought, as well as discovering the students’ talents and innovative skills. This vision is embodied in the university’s active and creative participation in forming its present and future by taking part in workshops and welcoming all partnerships from different sectors, most importantly the Queen Rania Center for Entrepreneurship."

The DART Entrepreneurship Society was established at Princess Sumaya University for Technology in 2004 and is the student arm of the Queen Rania Center for Entrepreneurship at the University. The DART Society is run by a group of PSUT students under the supervision of QRCE and works to form a network between academia and the business sector. In cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs at each university, the DART Society is conducting training courses and workshops to raise awareness about the importance of entrepreneurship among university students, in addition to providing them with the necessary skills to refine their capabilities.
