PSUT receives a delegation from Queen's University, Belfast, UK

 

Princess Sumaya University for Technology received a delegation from Queen's University, Belfast (QUB), consisting of the President of the University, Prof. James McElnay and the Director of the International Bureau, Ms Isabel Jennings. The delegation was received by Prof. Mashhoor Al-Refai, the President of PSUT, in the presence of the Deans and the Director of International Relations. Prof. Al-Refai welcomed the delegation and gave a summary of PSUT’s history and its academic programs. He talked about the outstanding accomplishments of the University and the high status among Jordanian and international universities. Prof. Al-Refai highlighted the international accreditation obtained by the University and its participation in 36 projects supported by the European Union five of which are under PSUT management.

 

 

The visiting delegation presented a summary of Queen’s University. The two parties then went on to discuss potential opportunities for cooperation between PSUT and QUB, especially in the area of ​​knowledge transfer, the University's links with industry and business, information security programs, and joint research projects between faculty members of the two universities. Also under consideration was the possibility of PSUT postgraduate students studying at QUB for a semester or a full academic year.

 

Queen's University is located in Belfast, Ireland. It was founded in 1845 and currently has 15 colleges and 23,000 students.
