Dr. Rami Alzebdieh

Rami Alzebdieh is an assistant professor at King Talal School of Business Technology where he has been a faculty member since 2018. He received a B.A. from the University of Jordan in 2007, and an M.A. from the University of Jordan in 2010. In 2013, he awarded a scholarship from the Swiss Government and a research grant from Schmidheiny foundation to obtain his Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Geneva - Switzerland where he received it in 2017. From 2007 to 2012 he worked at the University of Jordan as teaching assistance and from 2012-2013 as a full-time lecturer at PUST. After obtaining his Ph.D., he worked as a full-time lecturer at the Hashemite University from 2017-2018. His research interests span both financial regulations in capital markets and stock price informativeness. Much of his work has been on understanding the role of financial disclosures on capital allocation decisions by market participants and how to improve the flow of firm-specific information to capital markets.
