Our library holds distinguished and up to date collections that fulfill the library misstion in supporting the educational and research process. 

Book Collections

Book Collection

El Hassan Library presently holds 30,000 printed items and electronic books available through subscription databases.  The E-book collection amounts to almost 100,000 through EBSCO e-Books and Proquest One Academic subscriptions.

The collection covers all areas of knowledge, focusing on courses taught at PSUT: Computer Science; Computer Graphics & Animation; Management Information Systems; Science and Humanities; Business Administration; Communications Engineering; Electronics Engineering; Computer Engineering and various general interest topics.

In addition to a distinguished collection of rare books. The library holds a great and rare collection of research and publications published by the Royal Scientific Society.

Theses and Dissertations

Theses and Dissertations 

Every Master’s & Ph.D. degree student at PSUT deposits one copy of the completed thesis. The complete collection of theses is made available for use inside the library for research purposes.

Graduation Projects

Graduation Projects

El Hassan Library is the official depository for undergraduate student projects for all of the University’s Schools. The projects are archived because of their richness of innovative ideas at the same time they document student educational journey. Students and other users can benefit from projects as a resource in their own work. Hence, all students must submit one printed copy of their projects in addition to an electronic copy to the Library, printed copy could be borrowed for in-house use only.

Graduation Projects are available for use in paper form at the library. They are also available in electronic form, please email  Nissreen@psut.edu.jo to request access to a graduation project. 

CDs Collection

CDs Collection

The Library holds over 1,436 CDs, most of which are supplementary materials to books held in the collection.

CDs could be searched and borrowed by filling a form at the circulation desk. 

Periodicals Collection

Periodicals Collection

El Hassan Library subscribes to 80 refereed print  journal titles, with a total of 10,373 copies, all of which cover taught courses within PSUT’s specializations: Computer Science; Computer Graphics & Animation; Management Information Systems; Science and Humanities; Business Administration; Communications Engineering; Electronics Engineering; Computer Engineering and general interest topics.

Electronic Journals are covered through the following databases:

EBSCO, ACM Digital Library, IEEE, Proquest One Academic

The Collection also covers ACM proceedings, conferences and various reports.
