Memorandum of Understanding between PSUT and "Khibraty" platform

Princess Sumaya University for Technology has entered into a memorandum of understanding with the “Khibraty” platform, under which startups within the Queen Rania Center for Entrepreneurship (QRCE) network at the university will be granted access to experts and consultants to help them grow their businesses and enable them to expand and succeed.

The memorandum, signed by PSUT President Prof. Mashhoor Al-Refai and Abeer Qumsieh, founder and CEO of the platform, authorizes the Center to invite the network of experts and consultants to the platform, and paves the way for potential funding for initiatives targeting social issues.

Al-Refai expressed his pleasure with this cooperation, praising the role of Khibraty in promoting the values ​​of partnership among sectors of society, stressing that the university, under the directives of HRH Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, Chair of its Board of Trustees, seeks to build bridges of cooperation with sectors of the local community in line with the university’s goals and aspirations.

Al-Refai talked about the importance of networking the university’s instructors with industrial sector institutions to carry out scientific research that contributes to solving the problems facing society.

In turn, Qumsieh praised PSUT’s position and its pioneering role in the technology sector, saying, “We established the platform to facilitate companies’ communication with trusted experts. The concept was built on the foundations of decades of experience in the field of management consulting, and access to Khibraty’s experienced consultants can make a difference between the way of trial and error and that of successful business expansion.”

"We created the platform out of our belief that providing access to trusted advisors who can help new businesses overcome obstacles should be simple, straightforward, and affordable," Qumsiyeh added.

"Khibraty" is a smart online application that connects professional experts with project owners and creates a digital marketplace for knowledge sharing. The communication process is supported by the smart match engine that ensures that project owners from start-ups, small and medium-sized companies, and even large enterprises, are linked to the expertise providers that are most suitable for them.
