New issue of PSUT’s Jordanian Journal of Computer and Information Technology

The 2nd issue of the 8th volume of the Jordanian Journal of Computer and Information Technology, which is based at Princess Sumaya University for Technology, has been published to coincide with its new Scopus classification. JJCIT now ranks 127th out of 231 similar journals that publish the latest international refereed research in the field of computer engineering and ICT, putting it into the top 45th percentile. The journal now ranks among the Q3 category for international journals, drawing close to the Q2 category.

  The editor –in-chief for the journal is PSUT’s Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Wejdan Abu Al-Haija, who succeeded Prof. Ahmed Hiasat. JJCIT annually receives more than 400 research papers from researchers belonging to universities and research centers from all over the world, all of which are subject to arbitration by specialists from many countries according to academic principles followed in international refereed scientific journals.

  When academic research is accepted, it is checked to make sure that it is written in an accurate and error-free academic style by experts in the journal’s editorial office, while adhering to the ethics of academic publishing based on the applicable standards. Each year, about 30 research papers are accepted and published in four annual issues.

The journal has been issued with the backing of the Scientific Research and Innovation Support Fund at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research since 2016, and specializes in publishing high-level original research papers in all aspects and techniques related to the fields of computer technology, engineering, communications and IT.
