President of PSUT praises outstanding students and describes them as partners in planning and achievement

The President of Princess Sumaya University for Technology, Prof. Mashhoor Al-Refai, praised its outstanding students and their fruitful efforts, describing them as strategic partners in the success of their university and the planning for its progress towards broader horizons, which is the culmination of its fast-paced progress towards globalism that began three decades ago.

  In a meeting organized annually by the Care of Gifted Students Office in the Deanship of Admissions and Registration with the outstanding students in the University’s Schools, Al-Refai said, “Your university has charted a clear path for itself, which is one of excellence. Know that you have always been the most prominent part in every success achieved and every distinction obtained.” He pointed out that the meeting is part of PSUT’s policy of .eliciting the students’ opinions and visions when preparing and developing their plans and study programs and managing their activities.

Speaking in the presence of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Wejdan Abu Alhaija, and the Dean of Admissions and Registration, Dr. Abdul Ghafoor Al-Saidi, Prof. Al-Refai added that PSUT has become a landmark in excellence and a destination for all those aspiring to leadership. He highlighted the fact that what the University has achieved would not have been possible without the guidance of HRH Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, Chair of its Board of Trustees, and the efforts of the teaching and administrative staff and students.

Al-Refai stressed that PSUT is working with all its energy to provide fertile environments for the growth and prosperity of its students and investing it in the right manner that leads to success and progress.

Al-Saidi said that the outstanding students are the energies of the future and in their hands rests the renaissance of the country. He said that it is our duty to take care of them and appreciate them in a way that befits their achievements, and constitutes an incentive for them and others to do more. 

An extensive discussion took place, during which the PSUT president listened to the students' comments, observations, opinions, aspirations and ideas, promising to overcome all obstacles that might come their way and calling upon them to redouble their efforts and be an example of activity and earnestness and a role model for their colleagues.
