The Education Magazine, an international publication, listed King Talal School of Business Technology at Princess Sumaya University for Technology among the top 10 business colleges in Asia and the Pacific region for the year 2022, following a survey it conducted of the opinions of graduates and employers

in terms of students’ readiness to engage in job markets, and the knowledge and skills they obtain that help them compete for jobs.

PSUT’s president, Prof. Mashhoor Al-Refai, described this achievement as a deserved success that comes in the context of the University’s endeavor towards globalization. He highlighted how well its plans are working in aligning its majors with the needs of labor markets, and what it is working on to immunize its students with the knowledge and skills that enable them to navigate life with distinction.

Prof. Al-Refai added that PSUT, under the guidance of HRH Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, Chair of its Board of Trustees, follows a strict series of precise procedures when it launches its academic specializations, and is constantly working on developing them.

The Dean of the School, Dr. George Sammour, referred to the advisory councils formed by the School, which include experts from the industry and labor markets, when it proposes its academic specializations, and to its attention to qualitative teaching methods, its keenness to strengthen the capabilities of its students to work as part of a team, and urging them to be creative in entrepreneurship and business.

Sammour pointed out that one of the most important factors for the School's inclusion in this classification is its linking of education outputs to the labor market, and the dissemination of solid applied scientific research by faculty members.

Notably, the School became the first Jordanian university to obtain the international AACSB accreditation in the spring of last year, making PSUT one of only 5% of the world's universities, and 2% of the world's universities outside the USA, to hold this accreditation.
