PSUT and Hashemite University sign a Memorandum of Cooperation

Princess Sumaya University for Technology and the Hashemite University have signed a memorandum of cooperation between them in the field of scientific research, the exchange of faculty members, and joint supervision of master's and PhD theses.

The memorandum, which was signed at PSUT by the presidents of the two universities, Prof. Mashhoor Al-Refai and Prof. Fawaz Mohammad Al-Abdel-Haq Al-Zboon, aims to exchange sabbatical leave for their faculty members, strengthen their cooperation in the field of international projects, establish local and international extracurricular activities for their students, and promote scholarships for postgraduate students at the two universities.

Al-Refai praised the role of the Hashemite University and its great efforts in advancing the process of higher education, emphasizing the keenness of PSUT, under the guidance of HRH Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, Chair of its Board of Trustees, to build bridges of constructive cooperation with Jordanian public and private universities, and the necessity of joint work to serve higher education in Jordan.

In turn, Al-Zboon recognized the importance of framing and consolidating cooperation between the two universities, expressing his appreciation for PSUT’s leading role and academic status locally and internationally, and its relentless endeavors to raise the level of university education and build partnerships with involved sectors.
