The President of Princess Sumaya University for Technology, Prof. Mashhoor Al-Refai, inaugurated the interactive forum organized by the Deanship of Admissions and Registration. This third annual meeting, held via visual communication technology, serves to introduce high school students and their families to PSUT, its excellent reputation both locally and internationally, its specializations and admission requirements. The forum came under the title “Which Specialization Will You Choose?”.

After reviewing PSUT’s achievements, the international rankings it has been awarded, and the high levels achieved by its students in international competitions, Al-Refai praised the students who scrutinize the options available in university majors and plan their lives in a scientific and thoughtful manner that takes into account the needs and requirements of the local and global market.

Al-Refai added that 90% of PSUT graduates gain employment within the first six months after their graduation and that the university, under the directives of HRH Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, Chair of its Board of Trustees, focuses on offering unique specializations and is keen to graduate students armed with all the necessary knowledge and skills to enter the labor market, thus giving them a competitive edge. PSUT also strives to continually develop its study plans according to the needs of the market.

The Dean of Admissions and Registration, Dr. Abdul Ghafoor Al-Saidi, said that the 3-day forum is run with the participation of the deans of the university’s Schools and the heads of departments who begin by providing a detailed explanation about the specializations, places of employment and privileges that PSUT’s students obtain through their study of unique specializations that are in demand in the labor market. The forum provides the opportunity for an interactive dialogue with students who are just about to start their university studies and their families, in addition to answering their inquiries and questions.
