PSUT honors its outstanding students who have earned scholarships

The Acting President of Princess Sumaya University for Technology, Prof. Wejdan Abu Elhaija, honored in a ceremony organized by the Deanship of Admissions and Registration’s Office for the Care of Gifted Students, the outstanding students from among the 2020 and 2021 admissions who have proved themselves eligible for scholarships. The ceremony was attended by the Deans’ Council and the students’ parents.

The scholarships were awarded to outstanding first and second year students in all PSUT’s specializations who have maintained their excellence beyond the high school certificate. Each scholarship covers 40% of the student’s tuition fees.

In opening the ceremony, Prof. Abu Elhaija described the outstanding students as the university's capital and its loyal ambassadors to the world. She praised their efforts and perseverance and emphasized that the university would not fail to give them every material and moral support. Abu ElHaija urged the students to persevere in maintaining their academic excellence while giving utmost importance to acquiring new skills that keep pace with the spirit of the times and labor market needs, and always maintain their passion for knowledge and self-development.

the Dean of Admissions and Registration, Dr. Abdul Ghafoor Ibrahim Al-Saidi, noted that PSUT has been holding this ceremony annually to give all students the motivation to increase their efforts to achieve excellence and prosperity.
