The President of Princess Sumaya University for Technology honored Muthanna Maher Abdullah Attal, who is currently studying Business Administration at the university’s King Talal School of Business Technology, for taking first prize in the Dr. Yacoub Nasereddin Award for Free Reading and Creative Writing. Muthanna entered the Article category of the competition, which was organized by the Middle East University for students of Jordanian public and private universities.
Speaking in the presence of the Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Mohammad Sababheh, and the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Rami Salem, the university’s president, Prof. Mashhoor Al-Refai, praised the winning student and drew attention to the importance of conscious interaction with life issues through effective creative writing. He also thanked the Deanship of Student Affairs for their follow-up and tireless efforts in providing every support to students to get involved with events that enrich their university life.
Al-Refai added that PSUT, despite its technological orientation, pays great attention to its students’ cultural, arts and sports talents, and seeks to hone and nurture them by facilitating all aspects that serve to develop and round their character.
The winning article, entitled “Perfection Seekers", addresses bullying as a social and moral phenomenon.
