Eyad Odeh, a student at Princess Sumaya University for Technology’s King Abdullah II School of Engineering, won the bronze medal in the épée weapon category in the West Asian Fencing Championship. The competition was held in the Iraqi city of Sulaymaniyah, with the participation of fencers from Jordan, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Yemen, and Iraq.

PSUT’s President, Prof. Mashhoor Al-Refai, praised this victory, stressing that the University was keen, under the directives of HRH Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, Chair of its Board of Trustees, to support all its students’ participations in local and international tournaments and to provide everything necessary for them to practice their activities.
