PSUT student Lydia Safadi wins gold at 2nd Summer Open Swimming Championships
Princess Sumaya University for Technology student Lydia Al-Safadi won the gold in the 1500 meters at the 2nd Summer Open Swimming Championship. The event was organized by the Jordan Swimming Federation in preparation for the Arab Championship to be held next month in the United Arab Emirates.
The Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Rami Salem, praised the winning student and her talent, noting that PSUT, despite its technological orientation, spares no effort to provide all aspects of support for its students in their athletic, artistic and cultural activities, highlighting the importance of engaging in the development and refinement of their talents.
It is noteworthy that Safadi previously participated in the World Swimming Championships in Hungary in 2017, and South Korea in 2019.
