As part of Princess Sumaya University for Technology’s policy of paying recognition to its distinguished graduates, and based on the aspirations of HRH Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, Chair of the University’s Board of Trustees, of monitoring their successes and excellence, the Deanship of Admissions and Registration hosted Tala Nasraween. Ms. Nasraween, a graduate of the University who now works as an Oracle developer at ICS Financial Systems (ICSFS), met and talked with a group of students in the Friendship Auditorium.
Ms. Nasraween, who earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at the University a decade ago, reviewed her career, her triumphs and outstanding achievements, and the obstacles that she has needed to overcome. She explained how she started her career with the founding of the company Solar PiezoClean, which was registered in 2015. Ms. Nasraween went on to be chosen by Her Majesty Queen Rania as one of the top ten businesswomen in Jordan.
Notably, the Office for Careers Guidance and Alumni Affairs within the Deanship of Admissions and Registration holds monthly meetings where distinguished PSUT graduates get together with current students to give them the opportunity to learn about their success stories, to benefit from their example and experience, and to gain inspiration from them in building their immediate future.
