Signing of a cooperation agreement between PSUT and the Al-Naseeha website management company (AlTibbi)

Princess Sumaya University for Technology has signed a cooperation agreement with Al-Naseeha Company for website management (AlTibbi) in the field of vocational training and scientific research. It was signed by the President of PSUT, Prof. Mashhoor Al-Refai, and the CEO of the company, Mr. Jalil Abdel Aziz Labadi. Also in attendance were the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Wejdan Abu Al-Haija, the Head of the Data Science Department, Dr. Nailah Al-Madi, and Dr. Ammar Odeh. Alaa Al-Omari, Prof. Hussam Fares and Ayman Shareeha attended on behalf of the company.

Al-Refai praised the company's role in the online health sector and its great impact in providing health care services to citizens through smart applications. He also noted the importance of training students and qualifying them to contribute to the production and development process, highlighting the vision of HRH Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, Chair of the University's Board of Trustees, regarding the necessity of networking with major local and international institutions in order to advance the University’s work and achieve its goals in serving the nation.

Mr. Labadi praised PSUT’s role in serving the educational and scientific process in Jordan and its tangible achievements in developing and supplying markets with qualified, competent graduates. He welcomed the agreement and its role in supporting and developing the medical sector.

The agreement will promote scientific research in the academic programs offered by the University in general, and the Data Science program in particular. It will also serve as a pillar for creating new programs, such as programs in Health Information Technology and Bioinformatics, which will help open horizons for young people to obtain important business opportunities.

AlTibbi is a pioneering Arabic-language digital health platform providing online medical consulting services. It allows patients to communicate directly with doctors via voice calls or text chat, and the platform also contains a valuable collection of academic articles in addition to more than three million medical consultations and a huge amount of diverse data.
