Dr. mohammad shiyab

Dr. Mohammad Shiyab is currently serving as a teaching faculty member at Princess Sumaya University for Technology. He has taught at Philadelphia University (2000 – 2002), and Petra University (2002 – 2004). He has also served in a range of administrative positions at PSUT: Vice Dean of Student Affairs (2011 -2012), Assistant to the President for Cultural Affairs (2005-2011), Director of the King Abdullah II Fund for Development (2004 – 2008), Head of the Department of Arts and Humanities (2012 – 2013). Dr. Shiyab is also an active member in a number of academic associations and bodies, including the Jordanian Writers Association, the Arab Philosophical Society, and the Administrative Board of the Jordanian Philosophical Society (2003-2004). He served as Chairman of the Jordanian Philosophical Society (2005 - 2010), and is the Vice President of the Arab Philosophical Union (2009 – present).
