PSUT’s King Hussein School of Computing Sciences was established during the academic year of 2005/2006 as part of the university’s comprehensive plan to develop and improve its Schools and facilities. The School consists of five academic departments: - the Department of Computer Science, which was established in 1991, the Department of Computer Graphics and Animation (2006), the Department of Software Engineering (2014), the Department of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (2020) and the Department of Cyber Security (2022).
The King Hussein School of Computing Sciences offers five Bachelor of Science (BSc) and five Master of Science (MSc) programs, and one PhD program in the following specializations:

The accreditation of the Bachelor’s program in Computer Science by ABET in 2012, along with the accreditation of the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence program in 2025, in addition to the international EUR-ACE accreditation granted to the Software Engineering program in 2022 and the Computer Graphics program in 2024, represents a significant milestone in the journey of Princess Sumaya University for Technology. These accreditations reflect the university’s distinguished reputation, affirm the excellence and high quality of its academic programs, and strengthen the confidence of students, faculty members, and international institutions in the university. The college has diligently worked to align and develop all courses and curricula in accordance with the recommendations and standards of both ABET and EUR-ACE, ensuring continuous quality education and adherence to the highest academic standards.
