Prof. Osamah Badarneh

Prof. Osamah Badarneh

O. S. Badarneh received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Quebec-ETS (Canada) in 2009. In September 2018, he joined the Electrical Engineering Department at the German Jordanian University (GJU), Jordan, where he is currently a full Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department. He also served as the Vice Dean of the School of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from September 2021 to January 2024. Before joining GJU, he was an Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Tabuk from September 2012 to August 2018. Additionally, he worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Telecommunication Engineering at Yarmouk University, Jordan, from January 2010 to September 2012. He also served as an adjunct professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Quebec-ETS for three years, starting in November 2013. Currently, he is an Associate Editor for IEEE Communications Letters, a position he began in March 2024. He has extensive teaching experience at both undergraduate and graduate levels. His research interests include wireless communications and networking.

Prof. Abdul Ghafoor Al- Saidi

Advisor to the President for Student Success
Prof. Al-Saidi obtained a Bachelor's degree in Management from Al-Mustansiriya University in 1976, and a PhD in Food Security from the University of Baghdad in 1997. He joined Princess Sumaya University for Technology in 2010, where he became the Department Chairman of Management Information Systems, then Dean of King Talal School of Business Technology, then Dean of Admissions and Registration until 2023. He was appointed Advisor to the President of the University for Student Empowerment and Retention. His expertise has focused on economic development, food and water security, energy, and health economics. He has eleven published books and articles, and numerous research papers and studies in his field.
