Introduction to the Training Program
If you are a student in the final year of your studies or a recent graduate looking to strengthen your professional skills in the field of semiconductor and microelectronics industry, this initiative is aimed at equipping you. This initiative will provide you with the knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques necessary to seize the job opportunities in the field of semiconductor and microelectronics industry. DigiSkills fully funds this initiative.
The DigiSkills Program, inaugurated by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, aims to develop and maintain an evidence-based, dynamic, and demand-driven national digital skilling ecosystem. This ecosystem supports the growth of local ICT and digitally-enabled sectors. It attracts foreign direct investment (FDI) by assisting Jordanian youth in meeting the growing and ever-evolving regional and international digital skills demands.

About the Initiative
The importance of this initiative cannot be overstated. There is a strong, thriving global demand for semiconductors in design, fabrication, and supply chain, which is expected to persist for many years. This initiative aims to capitalize on the significant opportunities presented in the semiconductor industry, particularly in the chip and microelectronics circuit design and verification sectors. As these fields become central to global interest, addressing the gap in this industry is crucial for serving Jordan's economic vision.
This initiative provides effective opportunities for young men and women graduating from Jordanian universities or those in their final year by enrolling them in microelectronics and business skills technology. The training duration is six months and includes technical training in collaboration with a major corporation in the field. This training is designed to develop job search skills and ensure fully compatible outcomes, aligning with the semiconductors industry's needs and enhancing your career prospects.
