The Queen Rania Center for Entrepreneurship at Princess Sumaya University for Technology, in strategic partnership with the Zain Innovation Campus (ZINC), announced that applications are now being accepted from entrants to the 12th Queen Rania National Entrepreneurship Competition. The prize for the winners of the competition, which aims to develop young people’s entrepreneurial skills and to identify lucrative ideas and projects, stands at 25 thousand dinars.
The award seeks to highlight the energies and ideas of individuals, research teams and businessmen within the fields of energy, water, agricultural and health technology.
PSUT’s President, Prof. Mashhoor Al-Refai, praised this excellent award and its clear impact on the spread of the culture of entrepreneurship in the community, expressing his pleasure at its continuity throughout these years, and its perseverance in supporting young entrepreneurs, and enabling them to implement their visions in projects that drive the wheels of development.
QRCE’s Director, Mohammad Obeidat, said that, through the award, the Center seeks to consolidate the importance of pursuing ambitious projects capable of creating a new and invigorated spirit in areas that keep pace with local and global market requirements, in a manner that serves and advances the national economy.
The Executive Director of the Department of Information, Communication, Innovation and Sustainability Management at Zain Jordan, Tariq Al-Bitar, expressed his happiness with the strategic partnership with the award for the second consecutive year. He stated that the partnership seeks to enhance the platform’s role in serving youth and entrepreneurs, empowering the entrepreneurial environment in the Kingdom, and supporting Jordanian innovators, especially in innovative and emerging areas of the market.
