Two teams from Princess Sumaya University for Technology clinched first place in both the men’s and women’s categories of the 3x3 basketball championship among Jordanian universities. The championship was organized by the Sport Federation of Jordanian Universities and included 20 participating universities.
The women’s team comprised Masa Nubani, Bushra Habahbeh, Sarah Abu Shamma, and Maya Marei, while the men’s team included Nabil Abu Sharkh, Akif Sheiab, Fadi Qarmesh, and Basil Abu Aboud. Both teams were supervised by Yaser Musleh, Head of the Sports Activities Department at the Deanship of Student Affairs.
University President Prof. Wejdan Abu Elhaija congratulated the winning teams and their supervisor, praising the students for their sportsmanship and outstanding effort, and highlighting their success in both sports and academics.
Dr. Rami Salem, Dean of Student Affairs, credited this success to the students’ teamwork and discipline, emphasizing how athletic skills and academic values can come together to achieve great results.
