PSUT has marked a new academic achievement as the Computer Graphics Program at the King Hussein School of Computing Sciences received accreditation from EUR-ACE, one of Europe’s leading accreditation networks.
University President Prof. Wejdan Abu Elhaija expressed pride in this accomplishment, which adds to the successes of the King Hussein School of Computing Sciences and strengthens the program’s role in shaping a distinguished entrepreneurial future. She emphasized that this achievement reflects the vision of HRH Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees, to enhance the university’s global standing and offer innovative academic programs.
Prof. Abu Elhaija highlighted the university’s commitment to international standards in academic quality, fostering continuous improvement, and equipping graduates with competitive skills for both local and global job markets.
Dr. Firas Al-Ghanem, Dean of the King Hussein School of Computing Sciences, said this accreditation reflects the continuous curriculum development, modernization of labs, and support for scientific research and academic partnerships with both local and international institutions.
Dr. Sara Tedmori, Head of the Computer Graphics Department, thanked everyone who contributed to meeting this international accreditation requirements.
During its visit, the Accreditation Committee commended the program’s standards, graduates, and department improvements after a thorough evaluation, which included meetings with students, faculty, and supporting companies.
