The E-Marketing and Social Media Department at King Talal School of Business Technology organized the Second Digital Marketing Day, which saw wide participation from local and international companies specializing in digital marketing.
The event brought together experts and partners in digital marketing and social media, who shared their experiences and engaged with students to support their learning and help them apply this knowledge in their future careers.
Dr. George Sammour, Dean of the School, gave an overview of its programs and international accreditations, highlighting its position among leading business schools. He emphasized the school’s commitment to bridging the gap between academic study and the job market, in line with the vision of HRH Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan.
Dr. Sammour also announced the launch of Jordan’s first Executive Masters of Business Administration (EMBA) program and the accreditation of the E-Marketing and Social Media programs by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and AACSB.
Dr. Mohammad Abu Hashish, Head of the E-Marketing and Social Media Department, said the department is continuously updating its curricula to meet market needs and equip students with competitive skills. He highlighted partnerships with the Queen Rania Center for Entrepreneurship, iPark, and international companies to provide hands-on training.
He added that the department has partnered with the Digital Marketing Institute (DMI), making PSUT the only university in Jordan to offer professional digital marketing certificate and the university’s own E-marketing certificate.
Speakers praised PSUT’s efforts to align academic learning with industry needs through strong partnerships.
