The President of Princess Sumaya University for Technology, Prof. Wejdan Abu Elhaija, has announced the start of Ramadan Campaign 5 as part of the “Feekom Elkheir” initiative. This announcement took place in the presence of Prof. Bassam Hammo, the University's Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Abdul Ghafour Al-Saidi, the President’s Advisor for Student Success and Retention, Dr. Rami Salem, the Dean of Student Affairs, several Deans from different university schools, and many university students.
Dr. Rami Salem, the Dean of Student Affairs, emphasized the role of the university in fostering human values and solidarity among its students. He praised the positive response and enthusiasm of the students towards this initiative.
Dr. Salem outlined the campaign's goals, focusing on promoting solidarity and cooperation within the university community during Ramadan. The campaign aims to encourage active student participation in various Ramadan activities, creating a spiritual atmosphere and enhancing social unity.
Mohammad Kharoub, the Community Service Office Supervisor at the Deanship of Student Affairs, outlined the campaign's activities, which include distributing food parcels to needy families, providing daily Iftar meals, organizing Iftar for orphans, and supplying Eid clothing for children.
