El-Hassan Library preserves a collection of valuable books that are regarded rare based on their scarcity in Jordan and the world, as well as the rarity of their content and release date. This collection emphasizes in both Arabic and English a time of Jordanian and Arab society, history, and culture. The majority of this collection was written by orientalists.

Amman by Sobhi Touqan, published in 1950, is the most valuable book in the collection in terms of publishing date. Peake Pasha published A History of Jordan and its Tribes in 1958. Click here to explore the entire collection.
