Computing Sciences Research Center was established in 2017, by Prof. Arafat Awajan, hosted by the Department of Computer Science at the King Hussein School of Computing Sciences, it provides research opportunities and support for faculty & students

Research Groups

Intelligent Systems

Conducting research on applying intelligent systems across different domains. This includes healthcare disease prediction, power systems, industrial manufacturing, and, specifically, the area of wafermaps defect classification.

Intelligent Energy Systems

In this research group, we work on intelligence aspects of the power grid operation. This includes the topic of real-time dynamic pricing in Smart Grids and the application of Machine Learning tools in power system applications.

Network Security

The Network Security Research Group, which has been recently established within the King Abdullah II School of Engineering, is engaged in theoretical and practical research across various network security domains.

NLP

The Natural Language Processing Research Groups at the King Hussein School of Computing Sciences, PSUT, conducts theoretical and applied research in different areas in this field.
