Private Study System – no degree awarded (visiting students)

Students enrolled in another educational institution who wish to study some courses at Princess Sumaya University for Technology during any semester are allowed to join as visiting students (private study) with no degree awarded, according to the following conditions:

• Students wishing to study as visiting students (private study) in the university can apply to the Deanship of Admissions and Registration, via the link:

• Credit hour fees for private study are double those paid by regular students.

• A student is allowed to register for courses after submitting an application to join, and paying the prescribed fees. Please note that the student is not entitled to a refund of the tuition fees for the courses he has registered.

• Private study students shall not be granted any degree from Princess Sumaya University for Technology.

Required documents

Applicants for private study at the University must submit the following documents:

• A transcript of the General Secondary School Certificate or equivalent document.

• A copy of the civil status ID or passport.

• Two passport photographs.

• The student should submit the online application form via the website of the Deanship of Admissions and Registration, along with all required documents within the specified dates. The student should pay the application fee (non-refundable) of 25 JOD or its equivalent in another currency.

University credit hour fees

Below is a comprehensive list of the university credit hour fees as approved for the First Semester of the academic year 2020/2021, in addition to the registration fees of 375 JOD. The credit hour fees for private study students are double those paid by regular students.
