The Consultation and Training Center at Princess Sumaya University for Technology, in cooperation with Nokia, hosted specialized training courses titled ‘Future Engineering Empowerment learning program,’ with the participation of 20 male and female students from the King Hussein School of Computing Sciences and the King Abdullah II School of Engineering, selected based on specific criteria. The training, conducted by Nokia trainers, will continue on the university campus until early January 2025.
Prof. Wejdan Abu Elhaija, President of Princess Sumaya University for Technology, stated that this collaboration strengthens the university’s cooperation with global institutions, providing quality training that enhances students’ skills and prepares them as innovators equipped with the latest technologies, adding a practical aspect to their education.
Dr. Ammar Odeh, Director of the Consultation and Training Center, noted the center’s focus on building partnerships with industry to help students plan their careers by developing skills such as communication, time management, emotional intelligence, ChatGPT use, and data literacy.
Eng. Mudar Al-Zoubi, General Manager of Nokia company, expressed pride in partnering with the university, praising its talented students and academic standards. He emphasized the need for students to stay informed about advances in communications technology and future network developments.
