This program will let you be able to bridge the communication gap between engineers and managers. As a result of earning a degree that combines engineering and management, you will be qualified for a wide range of jobs, especially those requiring business leadership abilities and an awareness of a company's technological operations as combining technical and business skills gives engineers a competitive advantage in the rapidly changing market.
Students will also learn to apply engineering principles in planning, organizing and directing technical projects and how to manage the people within the team.
The main goal of the Engineering Management program is to help ambitious engineers who want to hold a senior position in their companies to combine technical and management roles with innovation to support company growth and emerging organizational trends.
This program is a dual degree with the University of Arizona where each student after finishing the two-year program will get two certificates from two of the best universities in the globe.
The modules cover a range of topics, including people leadership/human resources management, strategic management, management of innovation and project management. All of these topics and more will provide you with the essential engineering management skills and knowledge you need. Students will gain fundamental leadership and business administration skills that can be applied directly to engineering projects.
Program Requirements:
Graduated from an accredited engineering bachelor’s program or a degree in a related discipline.
Minimum GPA of 3.0 in previous academic coursework.
A score of 7 on the IELTS with no section below 6 or 79 on the TOEFL; or endorsement by the UA Center for English as a Second Language (CESL)
