Dr. Serin Atiani

Assistant professor

Dr. Serin Atiani is a data scientist and systems neuroscientist. She received her doctoral degree from the University of Maryland in Neuroscience and Cognitive Science and Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science. Dr. Atiani’s research investigates the computational principles underlying the processing and recognition of complex sounds like speech and music in the brain, in addition to modeling biological systems.
