In the presence of the University President, Vice President for Administrative Affairs, and the schools' deans, the Dean of Student Affairs at Princess Sumaya University for Technology has announced the final results of the student council elections for the 2024/2025 academic year. From 33 candidates, 23 students were elected to the student council.
University President Prof. Wejdan Abu Elhaija, Vice President for Administrative Affairs Prof. Bassam Hammo, and the schools' deans inspected the progress the student council elections, which were conducted with organized procedures, ensuring a smooth and successful process.
Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Rami Salem, said that the student elections reflect the students’ aspirations for effective participation in managing university affairs and enhancing dialogue between students and the administration. It also provides an opportunity for students to express their opinions and share their ideas for developing university life, aligning with royal directives to empower young people to participate in political life and in activities related to political parties, and enhance their societal responsibilities.
The following students from King Hussein School of Computing Sciences were elected: Ahmad Al-Sarkhi, Osama Obaidat, Jalal Touba, Seleen Abu Ayesh, Mohammad Awad, Khaled Mahasneh, Aya Al Tal, Ibrahim Zuraiqi, and Abdulrahman Al-Baroudi.
From King Abdullah II School of Engineering, the elected students are: Abdulkarim Al-Dumaisi, Harith Al-Fazza, Naseel Al-Mahadin, Ismail Al-Hindi, Mohammad Al-Maani, and Yousef Ibrahim.
From King Talal School of Business Technology, the elected students are: Shaima Al-Bunniya, Malak Muhaisen, Leen Al-Tabbaa, Zain Al-Samman, Tariq Al-Homsi, Salma Khalifa, Rahaf Abu Jamous, and Manaf Al-Kabariti.
