Prof. Wejdan Abu Elhaija, President of Princess Sumaya University for Technology, and Mohammad Al-Saleh, Acting General Manager of AI-Mu’akha for logistics and Communications Services Company (Mada), have signed an agreement aiming at hiring university students and leveraging their skills in fields related to the company’s logistics and communications services.
The memorandum is part of ongoing efforts between the university and Mada company to foster innovation and support national skills in technical and logistics fields, contributing to sustainable economic development in Jordan.
Prof. Wejdan Abu Elhaija, President of the university, said the agreement demonstrates the university’s commitment to providing job opportunities for its students and preparing them for the job market through partnerships with leading companies like Mada. Abu Elhaija emphasized that the university strives to offer students practical experiences to build their skills and prepare them for future challenges.
Mohammad Al-Saleh, highlighted the importance of collaborating with a leading institution in engineering, business technology, and computer science to attract talented young people. He noted that many PSUT graduates are already working at Mada, which the company takes pride in.
The signing of the memorandum was attended by University Vice President Prof. Bassam Hammo, President’s Advisor for Student Success and Retention Prof. Abdul Ghafour Al-Saidi, members of the university's Council of Deans, and several representatives from Mada’s management team.
