Muhammad Muhannad Jureishi, a student at Princess Sumaya University for Technology, won second place in the competition for the best video that was held in the celebrations of the Hashemite University of His Majesty King Abdullah II's Day. The celebration, which was called ‘Lanterns of Love... The Hashemite Week of Loyalty and Allegiance’, commemorates the Day of Military Retirees and Veterans and Al-Karama Day.
The victory came through the university's participation in the exhibition of students' free drawing paintings, which was inaugurated by the President of the Hashemite University, Prof. Fawwaz Abdel-Haq Al-Zboun.
Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Rami Salem, congratulated Jureishi on this great achievement, which embodies the highest meanings of loyalty and belonging to the leader of the country, His Majesty King Abdullah II. It also reinforces the feelings of pride, and loyalty to the victories of the Arab army and veterans which immortalized the history of our homeland.
Dr. Salem emphasized that the university is keen to engage students in all national occasions that enhance feelings of belonging and pride so that they become Jordan's ambassadors in all international forums and competitions.
