The President of Princess Sumaya University for Technology, Prof. Wejdan Abu Elhaija, welcomed the Pakistani Ambassador to Jordan, Muhammad Ajmal Iqbal, in the presence of the University’s Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Bassam Hammo, along with the President’s Advisor for Student’s Success and Retention, Prof. Abdul Ghafour Al-Saidi, and several Deans from the University’s Council of Deans.
The university and Pakistani Embassy explored opportunities for cooperation, particularly in student and faculty exchanges. They discussed the potential for students and faculty from Princess Sumaya University for Technology to visit Pakistani universities and gain insights from their educational experiences across various fields. Additionally, they endeavored to draft a cooperation agreement that underscores the mutual intent to strengthening their collaborative frameworks.
Prof. Abu Elhaija highlighted the journey of success that the university has pursued since its establishment, leading to its recognition as an international institution. This recognition is evidenced by the international accreditation of all PSUT's schools and the inclusion of its students in international rankings. Abu Elhaija underscored the university's dedication to strengthening global connections and collaborating with international universities in various scientific and research fields.
Ambassador Muhammad Iqbal expressed his delight at the productive meeting, commending the university's innovative approach and its impressive progress across various fields. He highlighted the potential for future cooperation between Princess Sumaya University for Technology and Pakistani universities, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
