Princess Sumaya University for Technology has maintained its ranking among the best 400-450 universities in the world. It is also the only Jordanian private university ranked in the QS Subject Ranking 2023 for all its Computer Science and Information Systems majors: Computer Science, Computer Graphics, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, Computer Engineering, Network and Information Security Engineering, Business Information Technology, Communication Engineering/ Internet of Things.
The results showed that PSUT made progress in all rankings compared to last year's results. The academic reputation achieved 115% progress compared to last year, the employment reputation achieved 102% progress while the citation and the H-index rankings achieved 105% progress in each field.
The President of the University, Prof. Wejdan Abu Elhaija, stated that these advanced results are the result of intensified efforts of the university's schools and departments to maintain excellence in education, ensure its quality, and develop scientific research, leadership, and creativity. They have a clear impact on improving PSUT’s academic and employment reputation locally and internationally.
It is worth noting that the QS Subject Ranking is a global classification issued annually by the Quacquarelli Symonds in the United Kingdom. Artificial intelligence and data science were added to the ranking this year.
