The Jordanian Journal of Computers and Information Technology (JJCIT), affiliated with Princess Sumaya University of Technology, has achieved a Q2 category ranking according to the renowned Scopus Database classification.
The (JJCIT) journal, which is published with the support of the Scientific Research Fund at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research since 2016, is dedicated to publishing original and high-level scientific research papers covering various aspects and technologies within the fields of computer technology and engineering, communications, and information technology.
Consequently, the (JJCIT) journal has become the first Jordanian journal to achieve this prestigious international ranking, keeping in mind its substantial role in elevating the country's reputation, highlighting the contributions of Jordanian researchers in diverse scientific and technological domains, and enhancing the standard of scientific research. The journal serves as a platform for researchers to publish their research findings and exchange knowledge.
Notably, Professor Wejdan Abu Elhaija, President of Princess Sumaya University for Technology, serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the (JJCIT) journal, which has been indexed in the Clarivate Analytics (Web of Science) database under the Emerging Source Citation Index. This achievement marks a significant advancement as the journal progresses towards joining the Science Citation Index Expanded group, also known as the ISI. It is worth mentioning that the Clarivate Analytics index is one of the top internationally recognized databases for indexing scientific journals.
