Prof. Abdul Ghafoor Al-Saidi

Prof. Al-Saidi obtained a Bachelor's degree in Management from Al-Mustansiriya University in 1976, and a PhD in Food Security from the University of Baghdad in 1997. He joined Princess Sumaya University for Technology in 2010, where he became the Department Chairman of Management Information Systems, then Dean of King Talal School of Business Technology, then Dean of Admissions and Registration until 2023. He was appointed Advisor to the President of the University for Student Empowerment and Retention. His expertise has focused on economic development, food and water security, energy, and health economics. He has eleven published books and articles, and numerous research papers and studies in his field. He has received numerous certificates and awards of appreciation for his outstanding performance and academic and administrative achievements.
