Dr. Bassam Maali holds a PhD degree in Accounting from the University of Southampton in the UK. Dr. Maali published many papers in international journals in the areas of Accounting and Social reporting of Islamic Banks, Accounting Education, and the effect of culture on Accounting. Dr. Maali has long teaching and administrative experience in different universities In addition to university teaching, he also lectured in many training courses in the area of Accounting professional certificates, IFRS, and Islamic Accounting.
