The Deanship of Student Affairs at Princess Sumaya University for Technology organized the Seventh Folk Heritage Festival, with the participation of 15 Arab and international communities. The festival showcased cultural diversity and encouraged interaction among different communities.
On the sidelines of the festival, University President Prof. Wejdan Abu Elhaija met with representatives of participating embassies and cultural attachés. The event was also attended by Vice President Prof. Bassam Hammo, Advisor to the President Prof. Abdul Ghafour Saidi, and several members of the Council of Deans.
Prof. Abu Elhaija expressed her appreciation for the participation of these communities and affirmed the University’s commitment to promoting cultural understanding and encouraging communication among students from different backgrounds.
Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Rami Salem highlighted the festival’s distinctive cultural variety and praised the contributions of the Arab and international communities.
The university president and guests toured the heritage pavilions, which featured traditional clothing, food, crafts, and performances.
The festival also included a range of artistic, cultural, folkloric, and musical events.
