About
The goals of the program include educating the next generation of data scientists with up-to-date knowledge in the data science and artificial intelligence field and providing the local and international markets with distinguished and competitive IT graduates with scientific knowledge and practical experience.
The program is fully accredited by the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education. The educational plan is designed to provide the students with a robust theoretical education in addition to the practical hands-on skills required in this field. This includes an introduction to data science, data engineering, data mining, artificial intelligence, machine learning, data visualization, and many more related and cutting-edge topics.
Departmental graduation requirements :
In addition to the university requirements and college requirements, the student must pass (80) credit hours distributed as follows: (68) credit hours for the compulsory specialization requirements, and (12) credit hours for the elective specialization requirements.
Possible Fields of work for Graduates :
The most important jobs related to this specialization are working in public and private sector institutions as a data analyst, data engineer, data scientist, data application engineer, machine learning engineer, business intelligence developer, in addition to many tasks for which there will be a wide demand to fill the shortage and need The large job market for graduates of this specialty.
