Princess Sumaya University for Technology and the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance cooperation in exchanging expertise and knowledge. The agreement aims to support students’ creativity and innovation and help prepare them for the job market through practical training at TRC’s specialized laboratories.
The MoU was signed by the President of the University, Prof. Wejdan Abu Elhaija, and TRC’s CEO, Eng. Bassam Alsarhan, in the presence of a group of university faculty members and members of TRC’s Innovation and Creativity Committee.
The MoU aims to create new opportunities for cooperation in scientific research and technical training, allowing students to benefit from the TRC’s facilities and laboratories. It also supports a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation, while contributing to digital transformation and the growth of Jordan’s ICT sector.
During the signing ceremony, both sides stressed the importance of cooperation between academic institutions and regulatory bodies to help build a generation of skilled professionals who can innovate and compete on both regional and international levels.
