2+2 Dual-degree
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
Stage 1: Complete 2 years (66) credit hours at PSUT
Stage 2: Complete 2 years (60) credit hours at IU (open to a possible third year)
Stage 3: By following a specific Study Plan, the student will be eligible to receive two Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science, a degree from each university. These classes need to be taken exactly as listed in order to graduate without delays. Download this Study Plan here.
Admission requirements:
- Being accepted into the Computer Science program at PSUT.
- Cumulative percentage in PSUT courses is at least 75% (not lower than 68% in each course).
- Obtaining a TOEFL/IELTS English language proficiency certificate.
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 out of 4.0 at IU in order to graduate.
- Every semester, the student requests a transcript from IU and submits it to PSUT's Deanship of Admissions and Registration to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from PSUT as well as from IU.
Approximate cost:
- In-state fees (resident fees) apply to PSUT students. Check here for updated prices.
- Students pay a flat-fee for tuition, which enables them to enroll in 12 to 18 credit hours per semester. Most classes are 3 credit hours.
- Most degree programs require, on average, an enrollment in 15.5 credit hours per semester to graduate in the traditional eight semesters.
