The Computer Engineering program at PSUT is based on a state-of-the-art curriculum that incorporates the latest advancements in Computer Architecture, Computer Networks, Machine-learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Embedded Systems.

The Computer Engineering program at PSUT is based on a state-of-the-art curriculum incorporating the latest advancements in Computer Architecture, Computer Networks, and Embedded Systems.

It covers analysis and design using the globally-recognized tools and software currently employed in modern industry. The practical part of the curriculum is enhanced by advanced labs and centers such as the Cisco Academy Support Center (ASC). This center offers technical support and training, not only to PSUT students, but also to all Cisco academies in Jordan and many Cisco academies in the region.

In the last few years, many students from this department have received awards from the Jordan Engineers Association and the National Technology Parade as a result of their outstanding engineering design projects.

The program’s curriculum consists of 160 credit hours, with students usually graduating in five years or less. The program accepts students who succeed in attaining a minimum average of 80% in their General Secondary School Exam / Science Stream, or equivalent qualification.
