
Dr. Abdullah Aref is an Associate Professor of Artificial Intelligence at the King Hussein School of Computing Sciences, Princess Sumaya University for Technology. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Ottawa, Canada (2018), and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Jordan (2004). He also holds a Certificate in University Teaching. Dr. Aref's research centers on trust management in multi-agent systems, with recent work extending to AI for software engineering, natural language processing, and multi-agent large language model systems. His publications include "A Hybrid Trust Model Using Reinforcement Learning and Fuzzy Logic" (Computational Intelligence, 2018), "An Integrated Trust Establishment Model for the Internet of Agents" (Knowledge and Information Systems, 2019), and "Multi-Criteria Trust Establishment for Internet of Agents in Smart Grids" (Multiagent and Grid Systems, 2017). He is currently conducting a systematic literature review on multi-agent LLM systems for software testing. At PSUT, Dr. Aref teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in Big Data, Cloud Computing, Data Engineering, High-Performance Computing, and Generative AI Application Development, and supervises MSc theses and graduation projects in data science. He has served as Acting Chief Information Officer at the University. Prior to joining PSUT, he taught at the German Jordanian University and worked in industry as a Data Science Team Lead.
