Dr. Fares El-Faouri
Assistant Professor
Fares S. El-Faouri received a Ph.D. in electrical and electronic engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tokyo, Japan, in 2024. He received his M.S. and B.S. degrees in electrical and electronic engineering from Princess Sumaya University for Technology, Amman, Jordan, in 2017 and 2015, respectively. His research interests include electrical machines, motor drive, acoustic noise reduction in switched reluctance motors, radial-force waveform shaping, magnetostriction, and torque-ripple reduction.
