Dr. Hamzeh Jaber

Dr. Hamzeh Jamal Ahmad Jaber is an Assistant Professor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Princess Sumaya University for Technology. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering in 2013 from Hashemite University in Zarqa, his Master's degree in Electrical Engineering/Power and Control in 2016 from Jordan University of Science and Technology in Irbid, and his PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in 2021 from Tokyo Institute of Technology in Tokyo, Japan. He previously worked as a researcher at the Nagamori Institute of Actuators at Kyoto University of Advanced Science in Kyoto, Japan, from 2021 to 2023. In 2023, he joined Al-Balqa Applied University as a full-time lecturer and continued there until 2024. Dr. Jaber is a member of the IEEE. His current research interests focus on power electronics, particularly high-power converters, and their applications in electric power systems, motor drive systems, and renewable energy systems.
